The 1999 Red Rocks shows will once again be carried live over the radio on a host of stations, an between July 9 and 11, 57 more stations will carry a program featuring highlights from both shows. View the complete listing of stations carrying the event.

Last night, in the first official full-band show of 1999 on US Soil, Blues Traveler was joined on stage by guests Phil Lesh, Mike Fiorentino, and Merle Saunders. Lesh, former bassist of the Grateful Dead, became the second Dead member to join Blues Traveler as he sat in on Sweet Talking Hippie. Saunders, a frequent guest in the San Francisco area, joined the band for three songs. Fiorentino, also known as Pieface, from the band Dear Liza, played violin on The Devil Went Down to Georgia. The band also debuted a new cover song, Sir Duke, a recognizable tune by Stevie Wonder. A complete setlist of this show can be found here. The band's next shows are this weekend in the annual 4th of July Extravaganza in Morrison, Colorado.
