BLUES TRAVELER FORCED TO DROP ANNUAL RED ROCKS APPEARANCES JULY 3RD AND 4TH--JOHN POPPER ENTERS HOSPITAL FOR TESTING

Blues Traveler have been forced to drop the planned annual appearances at Red Rocks Ampitheater scheduled for July 3rd and 4th. These have been some of the band's favorite gigs, and Red Rocks has been their home for the July 4th week-end the past seven years. All four band members regret that they will not be able to appear, and wish to offer an enormous apology to their fans in Colorado and across The United States who have planned to make the trip into town for these performances.

John Popper has entered a hospital on the West Coast to undergo tests. For the past few months, he has been experiencing chest pains. Doctors have ordered him to remain as an in-patient to monitor his condition, at which point possible preventative steps may be taken to improve his current physical condition.

All ticket holders should retain possession of their tickets for the next week, at which point further information will be announced.
