06-29-2001Fox Tickets & new tour information; Conan appearance upcoming; John jams his Biscuits off; Audio Chat with the band!

The Blues Traveler home office has confirmed that tickets for the Fox Theatre will be on sale the night of July 4th at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Fans attending the show will get first crack at the Fox tickets for $25 apiece. There is a four ticket per person limit and the show will be an all-ages event. Sources also say that the band will be touring through the end of July, taking two weeks off in early August, and will then hit the road through the end of September. No indications yet on a late fall/early winter tour though rumors are that several winter gigs are already in the works. Recently added to the tour [check the tour dates page for the latest] are dates in Columbia, MO; Fort Wayne, IN; Sea Bright, NJ; Albany, NY; Stillwater, OK; and Albuquerque, NM. The boys will also make a stop at NBC Studios to appear on the Conan O'Brien show on July 27th.

The Jammys were a smashing success, according to executive producer Dean Budnick. "[A]bove all else the music ripped." John Popper, as expected, joined the Disco Biscuits for Jane's Addiction's "Three Days" and Led Zeppelin's "Bring it on Home." John also sat in with the house band for the night, the Derek Trucks Band, on a "two-stage dueling jam on The Meters' classic 'Cissy Strut,'" joined by guitarist Stanley Jordan and Meters bassist George Porter Jr.
