07-17-2002New album update and plans for the immediate future

According to a netter conversation with drummer Brendan Hill at last night's show in Chicago, the reason for the delayed release of What You And I Have Been Through is a conflict with Interscope Records. The band had apparently planned to release live versions of several songs also recorded for Bridge, their last effort for Interscope, but ownership of the songs appears to be at issue. The current schedule has the band releasing the album for sale via their web site in September, followed by the more traditional brick-and-mortar availability the following month. Brendan also revealed that the Fall 2002 tour will be revisiting the west coast in light of the strong showing there last year, followed by a brief studio session in early 2003 to lay down tracks for a new studio album, to be released in the spring.
