Star Belu Remembers
Bobby Sheehan
PILLOW HEAD
I'm going to give you a new definition for "pillow
head". It's about a feeling that comes about me when I
read about Bobby and different Blues Traveler trivia things.
It makes me feel as enjoyable as does crashing my head down
on a fluffy down pillow and after doing so realizing I'm in a
dream about floating around and having many more soft fluffy down
pillows around me, and somehow breathing isn't an issue, I
guess cause I'm dreaming,
But, you get the feeling that I was meaning, thinking about Bobby and finding yourself in a totally unordinary pleasant experience. Me, I'll call it "pillow head". I remember all of the games I used to think he was playing. I mean, I only saw him while he was playing in concert, but I swear he'd play a lot of games while he was playing. I'm seeing it now, just a little bit, coming back
The last time Bobby played Red Rocks, I was there. I thought I'd be so devastated giving up my second row seat after Gov't Mule played to the Nasty Trench Coated One (turned out he was the Columbine Shooter dude ) but there was no way I was turning my back to this evil creep who focused his hate and his anger on me.
So, I had to walk away, though I didn't want to give up seeing the whites of their eyes, Red Rocks was packed. I nestled in by a group of deaf people. They were given a privileged section of seats right up front (to the side, though)! I met a girl earlier in the day practicing sign language. She was there to sign some of the songs to this group. My devastation was growing as these people would not even clap!
How bad would my luck go, but Bobby was blocked from my view! I felt like Snoopy giving out one of those tiny little whimpers. But, Bobby kept popping out of the back of the speaker. It was like he was checking on me, and he was certainly granting me my wish of seeing the whites of his eyes while playing in concert at Red Rocks. If I get a little too trippy, I can still see him as I did that evening, popping out, checking on me, just as clear as the circus bears dancing in a circle, "pillow head"
