Blues Traveler
Live From The Fall
E! Online, National
Nov, 1995

Blues Traveler may have made its name as a live band, but only the most Dead-icated fans will appreciate this plodding, predictable double-CD set. Harmonica player John Popper and the rest of his entourage try hard to act like Jerry's kids, but they simply lack the ideas to support their extended jams. Even when they link Blues Traveler songs "Run-Around" and "Go" with War's "Low Rider," the band falls flat. At least Blues Traveler is more energetic than Phish, The Dave Matthews Band and other baby-Dead acts.
