Thanks to several Black-Cat list members in attendance, we now have setlists
posted for the Reno and Tahoe shows from this past weekend; these can be
found in the Setlist Archive
and are also linked from the
Tourdates page. Among the debuts were a tune called You Lost Me There,
which John Popper mentioned would be on the upcoming album, as well as a new
cover of the Stevie Wonder tune Boogie On Reggae Woman. During conversations
with the band at these shows it was revealed that they had tentatively
schedule a show at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park in mid-May. There are
also rumors of a gig at Santa Cruz's Catalyst Club but there is no hard news
on this as of yet. Finally, according to www.nashvilleriverstages.com,
The band will be playing the Tennessee festival the weekend of May 5th.
Three-day pass packages are on sale now for $38; the schedule will be
announced on March 16th, at which point one-day passes go on sale for $25.
Lyrics have also been posted for two more songs on the upcoming album; the
first, Just For Me, is an upbeat tongue-twister of a tune whose words remain
partially undecipherable. The original
transcription, from its debut at Red Rocks Amphitheater last July 4th,
proved quite difficult but even the studio recording is very fast. Any
corrections are welcome from sharp-eared listeners! Also available are
lyrics to the album's second track, Girl Inside My Head. These can be found
linked from the
Bridge info page.
