10-23-2001Winter tour dates coming out; Blues Traveler to appear at Warren Haynes' 13th Annual Xmas Jam; New video & audio available at official site; Congratulations to Brendan and Sophie!

"Don't wanna hear bout your winter wonderland...I'm into Warmer Days" seems to be the reallying cry for the band lately, as ten dates have been released for the winter tour. The band appears poised to kick things off with four shows on four islands of Hawaii in mid-November. This will mark their first public gigs in the 50th state since December of 1995, including returns to two of the same venues. For more information on dates, mostly on the west coast (including a visit to the Warfield Theater), visit the Tour Dates section.

As a capper to the year's festivities, the entire band will be appearing at the Asheville Civic Center as part of Warren Haynes' 13th Annual Christmas Jam. The annual throwdown, which included John Popper as a special guest, will be featuring Phil Lesh & Friends, Gov't Mule, Drivin' and Cryin' and Edwin McCain, with several very special guests. A full list can be seen at mule.net, while the official information will likely once again be hosted at xmasjam.com.

If you're not among the lucky ones to catch Blues Traveler on this leg of their tour, your life will not be devoid of the band; there is a new bounty of video and mp3 clips to be had in the Vault at the official site; the video clips are from both 2000 and 2001, while the mp3s feature cuts from two shows from this past July. Grab your copies soon!

Finally, well-wishes and hearty congratulations are in order for Mr. and Mrs. Brendan Hill, who became parents all over again last week. Annabelle Marie Hill now has a sister, Josie Margaret.
